| SALVATION Romans 3:23 is not very encouraging. In fact, if it ended there, it would be downright negative. There is more! In verses 24-28, We learn about God's grace, His mercy, and His love for us. God welcomes us back to Himself. Genesis tells us that in the beginning God created us to have fellowship with Him. Then man disobeyed God and sin came into the world and man fell away from God. Jesus came to die on the cross to pay for our sins and now we can be His children again. Romans 3:24-30 is our hope. Yes, man (Adam and Eve) sinned and that sin is passed on to each person. God's love was broken. But then Jesus paid for our sins on the cross, and He rose from the dead on the third day to be victorious over death. He now is in Heaven pleading our case before God: that our sins have been paid for by His blood on the cross. Jesus paid for our sins already; all we need to do is to accept Christ as Savior. Have you made that decision yet? You can right now by asking Jesus into your life, tell Him that you are a sinner and you want His forgiveness. Jesus promises to save all who ask Him. If you just made that decision, let me know. I would like to send you some material that will help you. E-mail me at: john.pvbc@gmail.com or call me at: 616-914-3655 |
